Shambhala Arts Festival - A Celebration of Contemplative Arts Practices
March 27th: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche designated Shambhala Arts Day to occur on or near the spring equinox. It is a day when the entire Shambhala International community and friends are invited to celebrate art, poetry and other disciplines that embody the Dharma Art teachings of the Vidyadhara. These teachings are about creating from the open space of meditation and waking up to the unconditional sacredness of the phenomenal world.
The Brunswick Center will be celebrating the Shambhala Arts and other contemplative arts practices with an evening of music, poetry, dance, video, food and visual art on March 27th. Come with friends and family to enjoy the diverse creative expressions of meditative mind prepared by members of our sangha and the larger community. We will have a chance to practice contemplative viewing together and share in an uplifting evening of enriching presence.
